For this reason, the Group has decided to support the #TwoSides project sharing #FactsaboutSustainability, to dispel myths on consumer perceptions when it comes to print, paper and packaging industry.
A survey commissioned by @twosidesitalia, with a sample of 6,000 people from 8 European countries, showed that 53% believe that digital communication is more environmentally sustainable.
Myth or reality? The telecommunications industry (ICT) accounts approximately 3% of global greenhouse gas emissions and this share is expected to rise to 14% by 2040. Moreover in 2016, according to @ellenmacarthurfoundation, telephones accounted for 435,000 tonnes of e-waste.
